There’s no doubt last year’s Awards was an overwhelming success and we were flooded with positive feedback (thank you) so this year we again bring you the opportunity to recognise, reward and celebrate the best and most effective online creative in Australia.
After one of the toughest years in our industry since its inception, the 2010 IAB Australia Awards is the perfect vehicle to showcase the world- leading Australian interactive advertising that underpins the continued growth of our industry – and this year our Awards will celebrate imagination, the vital ingredient of any and all successful interactive advertising.
Eleven categories will be opened this year, including two new categories - Branded Content and Not-for-profit/Public Service.
Once again the IAB Australia Awards Best In Show winner will be entered in the 2010 MIXX Awards in New York in September, with two representatives being flown to New York to attend the Awards in person.
Last year our Best in Show winners did very well at MIXX bringing home four gold awards, two silvers and one bronze; with our own Best In Show winners taking Gold in the International Category and the top prize of Best In Show. That’s a bigger haul than in the Winter Olympics!!
So this year we are once again looking for the absolute best of the best. We want to see the most outstanding creative and effective online advertising campaigns to have run over the past 12 months in Australia.
Entries are now closed but you can buy your tickets to the gala presentation.
Full details on the entry process, fees, guidelines and judging criteria are availabel on http://www.iabawards.com.au and there are also contact details for any questions you may have.
So good luck and I look forward to seeing you on 22nd July at our Awards evening (note for the ladies who universally complained that standing in heels for 45 minutes was too long at last year’s Awards, I hope you’ll be happy to know that we took your concerns seriously and this year we’ll be sitting down during the awards presentations!).
