Native has become a hot topic in the advertising marketplace & another industry buzzword.

As with all new digital practices comes some confusion on definition and structure, on Friday 31 January we found out more about current native advertising options, brands doing it well and how to create engaging native experiences.

Andy Wiedlin, San Francisco based Chief Revenue Officer at Buzzfeed joined us to explain why EQ matters more than IQ in creating content that gets shared along with expert speakers from Twitter, the Monkeys and Fairfax.

Social Sharing with a Purpose – Why EQ Matters More than IQ
Social is the new starting point for how we discover and share news with our friends. Brands now have a unique opportunity to connect and engage users by creating social content that users want to see and most importantly, share. Andy showed why EQ matters more than IQ in social advertising and why distribution is just as important as creating quality content.
