With new Data Breach laws in operation, greater demands on companies to responsibly handle customer data, and a big shake-up to European data privacy and protection rights set to be introduced next month via the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we ask our keynote speaker Angelene Falk, the Acting Privacy Commissioner, to provide an update on ‘What does it all mean for privacy in the Australian market?’. This will be followed by a panel of experts from the digital media & advertising industry talking about the tools and strategies their companies use to respond to the new privacy landscape in 2018.
