IAB Australia and the Outdoor Media Association returned to Sydney in August 2026 for Powering DOOH, a half-day summit unpacking the technical, practical and strategic sides of programmatic out-of-home in Australia. Proudly sponsored by Broadsign, Perion and Vistar Media, the morning brought together buyers, sellers, platforms and brands to look at where automation, measurement and omnichannel planning are heading.

QMS’s Michael Whiteside opened with industry context and innovation, followed by an OOH market update from OMA CEO Elizabeth McIntyre and the release of IAB Australia’s DOOH State of the Nation research results by Natalie Stanbury.

Broadsign’s Dave Etherington and Jonny Richardson took the room through the omnichannel tipping point, before a panel of agency and platform voices doubled down on pDOOH. A Brown-Forman ROI case study from Starcom, Yahoo, Brown-Forman and Endeavour Group closed out the first half with a practical look at outcomes.

After morning tea, Mutinex’s Will Marks examined MMM’s influence on DOOH investment, Accenture Song and oOh!media shared a fireside chat on the future of DOOH, and a final panel explored omnichannel amplification across the buy and sell sides.
